Virginia Wyatt (née Jaymes) was the mother of the late Rayna Jaymes and Tandy Hampton and the wife of Lamar Wyatt.
History
Not much is known about Virginia's life. She died in a car accident in 1983 when Rayna was young. It is revealed that she had been having an affair with a musician, who turns out to be Watty White, and had packed to leave her husband, Lamar.
According to Rayna, it was Virginia who gave her the first guitar she ever tried to play and when the latter started her singing career, she named herself 'Jaymes' in honor of her late mother.
Before Rayna dies, she sees the ghost of her mother talking to her about her unfinished song.
