Saved

Saved is a song written by Lennon Stella, Marylynne Stella, and Matt McVaney and performed by Maddie Conrad in the Season Five episode Back in the Saddle Again.

Initially she does not like the way it sounds before Juliette Barnes sings it with a keyboard in front of Avery and tries to convince her how it would sound better if they go with her version.

She gets Clay to listen to both versions (he prefers Juliette's) and after Maddie listens to both versions again she realizes that Juliette's version sounds better so decides to record it.

In the episode (Now and Then There's) A Fool Such as I Daphne phones Maddie while the latter is with Clay to say that it is being played on the radio.

She sings it repeatedly while shooting a mascara commercial in the episode Farther On.

She performs it onstage at the American Music Awards after the song is nominated but loses out on the award to Katy Perry.

It is included on the deluxe version of The Music of Nashville (Season 5, Volume 2).
