Although it is originally arranged for Juliette Barnes to perform it, she suggests to Maddie that she should perform it instead since Rayna was her mother but after being unable to finish the song due to her grief Deacon and Daphne step in to help her sing it.
Maddie sings it acapella after being interviewed in New York in the following episode.
